I’m somewhat disappointed with this laser sight. It has broken twice and been sent back to "Laser Max" ( Crossman Air Rifle)
I had to fight to get them to recognize that the switch in this devise is the weak point.
It utilizes the take down lever and a modified shuttle that has been drilled and a drop of epoxy inserted so that it works like an insulator and turns off the laser when the pin in the new take down lever is pushed in. PROBLEM … This is used on a real gun, not a toy cap pistol. The shock from the gun firing and the recoil drives the epoxy out rendering the laser Max 100% useless.
This model Laser Max is a nice toy but may well fail you when you truly need it.

Hello,
I want to buy for a west german p226 from outside the USA. You exactly told another user that there is no compatibility with old German weapons. I have some modification possibilities myself. If I buy the standard kit, is it possible to make it compatible myself or how can you help me?

I’ve always used your laser max. I have 5 and love them. All internal and conceal nice. I wish you could figure out how to increase battery life.
