Wenn nein, brauche ich auch keine Newsletter!
Benöte diesen Führungsstablaser für Glock 17 Gen. 4

  2. Big Ken (verified owner)

I own both the red and green lasers. The green laser, although it is a bit more expensive, it is well worth the money! Do not settle for less.

  3. Big Ken (verified owner)

It arrived from the factory aligned with the bore. Despite the low power (<5mW), it is visible in broad daylight! It also has the user’s option of a ‚Äúcontinuous‚Äù or a ‚Äúpulsating‚Äù output beam of green laser light. I prefer the pulsating feature.

This is my second guide ride laser purchase and I’m beyond happy with the results! My first was for a G19 Gen 5 and I purchased this unit for the G48(MOS) – yes, I’ve confirmed with LaserMax that does indeed fit the MOS model.
It wasn’t quite as easy to install it as the unit designed for my G19 but after receiving a little helpful coaching from a very knowledgeable LaserMax support team member, I prevailed.
I love the internal stealthy design and the excellent support motivated me to actually write a review.
    I recommend this model.

  5. Edgar (verified owner)

    Overall the product is decent.

  6. Mike (verified owner)

Recently installed a green laser on my Glock 43x because I was having trouble seeing my front sight clearly. With the Lasermax guide rod laser I’m back in business

  7. Larry McNeil (verified owner)

Installation was smooth and easy. However, the first round fired invariably turns off the laser. Even using the switch does not recover the laser. Only after manually cycling the action can I get the laser to light again. Why is this happening? Totally not acceptable!

  8. Janet Rountree (verified owner)

Ok I guess. The slide locking bar/laser switch was easily activated by my molded holster and quickly drained my batteries.
Not much good if I’d needed it.

I took a chance and purchased the green lasermax guide rod (new programmable version) for my Glock 43X and 48 MOS pistols. I say took a chance because the MOS or railed versions of the pistol are not listed on the description of the guide rod. Couldn’t find any videos or reviews verifying functioning and point of aim compatibility. Other than the one person who wrote here on this site, that he/she was told by Lasermax that it would work.

Well, here’s the deal. I have owned the Lasermax guide rods for various Glocks for the past 20 years. I currently own 4 versions for my various Glock pistols. I know and understand how to install, use, and the reasonable expectations of the units. Every laser guide rod I have installed and tested had a point of aim that lines up with the factory sites at between 7-15 yards. I also verify with a laser bore device to make sure the POA are relatively close at those distances. Here is where the version for the 43/43X/48 falls short (pun intended) for the MOS versions. It’s point of aim is low approximately 6-8 inches @ 7 yards and 8-10 inches @ 15 yards. I believe this is due to the railed versions of these pistols have a different specification in regards to the stock guide rod location, just enough to make this issue apparent. Now everything mechanically works as it should and you could aim lower but that’s not the reason for this device.
Testing at the range, aimed for a head shots at 15 yards and missed shooting high every time. Aimed low headshots at 7 yards and barely hit the top of head silhouette.

Lesson learned, If it was 100% compatible with the 43X/48 railed or MOS versions, Lasermax would of listed it as so. I just don’t want anyone else to go through the same experience. Hopefully my comments will be addressed by Lasermax and they will have a modified version for the 43X/48 MOS pistols in the future.

It was a pleasure speaking with your support guy

I really enjoy the LaserMax. It was easy to set up. I only had to call one time to stop the Laser from pulsating to steady. I don’t like pulsating anyway so I leave it on steady. It’s quite bright and easy to see where I’m pointing.I haven’t used it at the range so far but will when I go there. I picked the Green color over the Red. I paid a few $$ more but I enjoy the product so far.

I used You Tube to watch how to install it and it came out perfect. Laser is balls on and works perfectly.

  13. Stephen Kaplan (verified owner)

The laser doesn’t work anymore. It installed easily, however after 150-200 rounds the laser no longer works. I just put in fresh batteries thinking that was the issue but no it still doesn’t work. Not worth the price at all!!! Don’t buy it.

  14. MICHAEL WILLIAMSON (verified owner)

    Easy and great install!

  15. Thomas Galat (verified owner)

It is a fantastic laser, The green light is very easy to visually acquire and is very close to foresight at close range (5 yds or less). This is my third laserMax product.
They need to make one for FN 45 Tac and FN 509, I would buy them for sure!

  16. Lillie Szarko (verified owner)

As my husband had said I stole his red LaserMax and I bought the Green LaserMax to replace the red one that I took from him. I tried the Green one and it worked perfectly as your company described and said it would so Me personally I stayed red and hubby is green and together we compete, otherwise the products are EXCELLANT and everybody who checks out the sight should buy 1.You will not regret it

  17. Brent Rossman (verified owner)

For the amount of money that they cost, would have expected not to have any issues.

  18. Joseph Butler (verified owner)

I purchased a green laser from LaserMax. It arrived in nice packaging, but nothing on the box other than the part number and the generic description "Guide Rod Laser" – no "Green" or "Red" anywhere. I installed the laser and it works great, however, it is Red, not the Green I purchased, which was roughly another $100 to get the Green. I send an email to customer service and still have no response to my ask to either refund me the difference or send the one I paid for.

  19. Joseph Maggiacomo (verified owner)

Highly impressed with the ease of installation. Brightness is spot on. Cannot wait for the rain to stop to get out and utilize the laser!

  20. Randall Wampler (verified owner)

Excellent – fits and functions like it should.

  21. Jim Mehserle (verified owner)

Laser is easy to install. Basic operation instructions are adequate. Be aware that you will not be able to achieve absolute zero with this laser. It will get close, perhaps close enough for you – but not for me. The on/off is problematic. When you get it so that you can operate it one-handed with index finger for draw, it is loose in the holster and tends to turn itself on in the holster. When you adjust for holster, it is too difficult to operate with index finger on draw. I really like having the reduced profile for my weapon given by taking off my light/laser on the pic rail. I really like the possibility of using the laser in draw from concealment with index finger. But overall, after evaluation, I probably will request to return.

  22. Kylie Cashion (verified owner)

It is awesome! I don’t need it all the time, but when I need it, I’ll have it! It is on the high side for price, but I love the fact I don’t need anything extra on my Glock. PERFECT

  23. Brad Gibson (verified owner)

    Great

  24. William Hamilton (verified owner)

So far it has been excellent. Very visible laser even in bright sunlight! Don’t have the red one so can’t compare, but I’m happy with the green.

My first Glock 43X was the Austrian MOS model … my first foray into MOS red dot sights. I’ve decided I really like this pistol and the MOS sighting tech (I opted for the Swampfox Sentinel), but if I want to use it as a carry weapon, I can’t get over the feeling that optic loop bolted to the top of the slide is going to be an unacceptable draw/snag hazard. It definitely eliminates pocket carry as an option. I also don’t like lights or laser devices hanging below the muzzle, regardless of how they’re mounted. All my past laser sighting aids (Crimson Trace) have been the variety that wrap around the pistol grip, and shoot their beam from an aperture on the side of the pistol. Those I like. Crimson Trace doesn’t make ANY laser that’s compatible with the 43X-MOS (and they told me they have no plans to), so I bought a second, non-MOS version of the 43X, and this guide rod laser … also a first for me. Before I got the second 43X, I tried this laser on the MOS one, and wasn’t happy at all with the variance between the laser POI and the POI shown by a bore sight laser. After contacting LaserMax for a possible return/refund, they recommended cycling the slide 3 or 4 times, then checking the POI again. I did that, which significantly reduced the variance, and I was able to improve it a bit more by bumping both sides of the muzzle on the heel of my free hand … the guide rod in a semiauto pistol is designed to move/shift a little, and these little tricks help the LaserMax rod settle into a more stable position on the switch end, where it meets the barrel lug. I have found the fitment/variance issue a little less troublesome on the non-MOS 43X … VERY little variance between the bore sight and guide rod laser POI’s at 10 yards.

Bottom line: with no way to adjust this device for elevation or windage, and its "best" alignment being the distance between the center of the bore and the center of the guide rod, the accuracy is not as mathematically precise as some shooters might want, but IMO, it’s certainly "good enough" for a subcompact handgun with a 3.4 inch barrel … WAY better than trying to quickly acquire your target using iron sights only. The switch is a little sticky/hard to press, and I noticed it gets even stickier/harder with a full mag in the pistol, but I can consistently/reliably activate the laser with my index/trigger finger only, so that’s also "good enough" for me. The laser itself is wizard … very bright green (also a first for me … lasers on all my other pistols are red), clearly visible in nearly all light conditions, and now I’ve got a 43X with "built-in" green laser sight support and no added bulk/stuff anywhere on the sleek frame of this subcompact Glock design. So, unless I experience any problems with slide cycling due to replacement of Glock’s two-stage recoil spring with the single-stage spring used on the LaserMax device, this gizmo is a keeper.

Good Product. The last two of these I have purchased both had dead batteries when they arrived. Suggest you get extra batteries when purchasing.

  27. Donald Stevens (verified owner)

As advertised, installation was quite simple, and correlation with the iron sights was spot on at 30 ft or so. The laser also held its zero after multiple rounds fired.

  28. Kelly Folsom (verified owner)

It’s a great buy. I’m currently looking for another one for my Glock 28 i just bought. Thinking red on this one. The green is great

  29. Guillermo Medina (verified owner)

I have one of these and is very good.
Only suggestion is that you give the options of how fast one wants the delivery. Now is free but it takes for ever…

    Quality product great design

  33. MONTY LARUE (verified owner)

My purchase arrived in a timely manner, after reading instructions carefully it was a quick installation. I just purchased a bore site so I will take them all to the range and co witness my upgraded iron sites to my bore site to my guide rod laser. It’s all about being comfortable shooting. We’ll see how it holds up after a few rounds through it.

  34. Anthony Rivera (verified owner)

Amazing purchase, Easy to install. directions were easy to follow, laser is bright and works very well, overall its a great item.

  35. David Lehman

Bought an internet green laser for my Glock 43. It is a great green laser, easily visible in all lighting conditions.
I only wish the dot was adjustable. I also have a red dot sight for my Glock42.
Both laser sights when checked with a bore sight were @ 9 o’clock 2” from center at 30’ from the target so a center adjustment, or the option for a custom sight center adjustment would be a great help.
    But overall will settle.
