Features:
GREEN IS THE ULTIMATE TACTICAL COLOR. Whether you’re running port security, investigating the noise in the garage, or engaged in combat in urban terrain, green transitions from light to dark and back again better than any other color.
- Highest visibility in ALL lighting conditions.
- Incredibly lightweight - weighs ONLY 1oz. with batteries
- Integral Picatinny rail system to allow a wide variety of accessories to be stacked right onto the green laser system.
- Ambidextrous activation to accomodate the left or right-handed shooter.
- Optional Momentary Activation Switch
- Constructed from FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) for lasting durability.
- Maintains alignment after every battery change.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why is the Uni-Green so much more expensive than the red Uni-Max?
A: Commercially-available diode technology does not give green light in a package suitable for laser aiming. To get around this limitation, we use a process called “frequency doubling”. This process requires an infrared pump diode, various crystals and filters, collimating optics, etc., all precisely aligned and made rugged enough to take recoil and temperature variations. It is a lot of expensive technology to stuff in a package the size of a matchbox, but it gives you the brightest laser allowed by law in a rugged, low-profile unit.
Q: Is the green laser visible in daylight?
A: Yes, it is much more visible than red or blue lasers in daylight, but it may not be practical in every possible situation. You are better off using a high power scope if shooting at long range on a very bright sunny day.
Q: If there’s an infrared pump diode in there, do I have to worry about eye safety?
A: LaserMax filters out the infrared so the Uni-Green is eye-safe. However, some manufacturers cut their costs by omitting the filters and their lasers are definitely not eye-safe.
Q: I see other green lasers that are higher mW. Why does LaserMax offer only a 5 mW?
A: The FDA limits the laser output to 5 mW for civilian and law enforcement users.
Q: What if I want a brighter laser? What’s the problem with higher power green lasers?
A: Lasers that do not comply with FDA regs are a liability, especially for law enforcement. They can permanently damage your eyes (or someone else’s). This is true even if the infrared is filtered out. Green light can damage your eyes if it is too bright.
Q: My Uni-Green looks dim in the extreme cold.
A: The green technology is temperature sensitive, and most green lasers have a narrow operating range, typically 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. LaserMax used proprietary technology to engineer the 5 mW Uni-Greens to work between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you need a Uni-Max to work at significantly colder or hotter temperatures, the red Uni-Max may be a better option for you.
Q: How long will the batteries last in my Uni-Green?
A: About an hour. The Uni-Green has a time-out circuit. It shuts off automatically after 10 minutes. If you accidentally leave your Uni-Green on and it times out, just toggle the switch and it will turn on again. Needless to say, if you have the momentary switch option, the Uni-Green will stay on only as long as you squeeze the switch. (And if you squeezed it continuously for 10 minutes, it will time out.)
