Springfield Armory recently released a new barrel lug configuration on their existing XD line of handguns. The diagram shown below indicates the differences in the two barrel lug designs that are currently available. The old style has a flat shelf in the barrel lug, while the new style has a cresent shaped notch. Please be advised that LaserMax Guide Rod Lasers now fit both versions. If you have the 4" 45ACP or 5" 45ACP please contact us for more information. Current XD Guide Rod Lasers are not designed to fit the XDM.

Turn It On!
To activate the laser, simply push IN on the switch pin, which is located inside the takedown lever. Pushing in from either side will turn the laser on; the middle position is off.
